FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How often will I receive my stats?
Your statistics will automatically be generated and delivered to you on a weekly basis on a Sunday so they are ready for you first thing Monday morning. Your monthly reports are sent on the first day of each month and you can access your real-time reports 24 hours a day via our secure login.
Can I have a summary report sent as an SMS message to my mobile phone?
Yes, you will need to have an 'email to SMS' email address. Many of the popular mobile phone operators provide such addresses. Simply email info@sitestats.co.uk with your address AND site details, and we will do the rest.
What do I gain from a full statistics service?
The benefits are considerable, knowing how people use your site helps you develop the site so that it serves your customers/visitors best. This, in turn, helps to build the success of your web site.
Why can I not see any statistics in my reports?
Please check:
- You have installed the SiteStats code in your web pages correctly
- Your web site is live and publishing content correctly
If you still cannot see any statistics, please contact the SiteStats support team.
Do you retain my statistics forever?
Historic statistical information is retained for 12 months. If you would like to purchase an archive service, please let us know.
Can I get the email addresses of my visitors?
It was possible to obtain the email of your visitors in the early days of the internet but this was, quite rightly, a gap quickly plugged. You are always better advised to collect email information through legitimate means and user consent. SiteStats does not collect any personal information from the visitors to your site.
Why should I use SiteStats?
SiteStats is an independant service with no loyalties or preferences to one browser, software or ISP. SiteStats is a quick, easy and efficient method of measuring your success - and if your site is not yet a success, SIteStats will be a vital part of making it so.
Sitestats Payments
